Jennifer LAIRD Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, on October 16, 2025, aged 79 years. Loved and cherished Mum of Suzanne and partner William, and Stephen, loved and treasured Nana of Jake. Special sister of Margaret and the late Mervyn Cousins, aunty of David and wife Sharon, Diane and husband Alan, and their extended families. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Nurse Maude Hospice for their care and support of Jenny and her family.

I like to imagine you dancing in the clouds, no longer struggling. Just free.

Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Jenny Laird, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Jenny's life will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Monday, October 20, at 2.30pm. Private cremation to follow.
