Jennifer HUGHES Obituary
HUGHES, Jennifer Margaret:
Of Wanaka, formerly of Greymouth. Passed peacefully at her home on July 6, 2018, aged 80. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Ray, dearly loved and adored Mum of the late Robyn, Jill and Nic, much loved and cherished Nana of Jemma, Elle and Jesse, loved daughter of the late Margaret and Andy, and loved sister of Beverley, Maureen and Lorraine, loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews.
After a long and hard, brave struggle she is now at peace.
The family wish to thank the Doctors and Staff of Aspiring Medical Centre, Caren from the pharmacy and the Hospice Staff. A service to honour Jennifer's life will be held at St Columba's Anglican Church, Upton Street, Wanaka, on Wednesday, July 11, at 3.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Messages to: 9 Ruby Ridge, Wanaka 9505.

Ray, I have just learned of Jenny's passing & wanted to send my very sincere condolences to you.
I often think of you both & the lovely times we had when I was working for the ANZ bank & we visited. You were our favourite clients (not to mention that Jen made the BEST whitebait patties!) & I considered you both dear friends. I would have come to the funeral had I not been so far behind in my newspaper reading & only just found the notice.
