Jennifer Ruth Christian "Jenny" HERCUS

Jennifer HERCUS Obituary

Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, at Ellesmere Hospital, Canterbury aged 81 years. Much loved mum and mother-in-law of Lisa and Aidan, and Scott and Minna. Cherished Nanny to Padraig, Grainne and Tadhg, and Leonardo and Sebastien. Jenny's family would like to say a big thank you to the beautiful staff at Ellesmere Hospital, their care of her was wonderful. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Friends of Ellesmere Hospital. A memorial service for Jenny will be held at St John the Evangelist Church in Leeston, on Friday, February 27, at 10.30am. Messages may be sent to PO Box 99, Omakau 9352.

To a beautiful cousin and god mother, we didn´t know that you had passed and have only just found out as it was your birthday yesterday and we have been trying to contact you for such a long time!
Thank you for being a fabulous support through the years, through good times, Guy Fawkes on the farm, swimming at the beach with Lisa and Scott as kiddies.
To Jo,Lisa and Scott and families we both send our deepest sympathies and wish we had known, as I was named after your mum and I would like to have been there to give you our support and love1
