Passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 1, 2018, surrounded by her family, in her 91st year. Cherished wife of the late Bert. Beloved mother of Graham and Anne York, Balclutha, Tony and Pip York, Christchurch, and Mary and Gerard Gill, Auckland. Adored grandma and great-grandma of Simon and Michelle, Henry and Olivia York, Lauren and Adam, Charlotte and Thomas Fleming, Blair and Sarah and Madeleine York, Amy York and Dylan Brown, Jo and Johnny Wong, Mike and Bridget, Jacob and Susannah York, James Gill, Liz Gill and Sebastian Mclarin, Kate and Matt Smith, Mark Gill and Karo, Hannah and Matt Guzy. We would like to thank the staff at Ilam Lifecare for their outstanding love and care Jean received during her time there.

A Requiem Mass for Jeanette will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 90 Greers Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 11.00am.
