Jeanette MAXWELL Obituary

MAXWELL, Jeanette Pongarauhine - On April 29, 2014, passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family; aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of Tiri for 61 years, loved mother and mother-in-law of Barry and Kathleen, Pongarauhine and Keith Jeffery, Dennis (deceased) and Diane, Melissa, Raukawa, and Charlene and Jason Tau. Loved grandma of Rebecca and David, Sam, Abigail; James, Michelle; and a loved great-grandma of Rubee. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Chuckles (Fred) and Joy Plows, and a loved aunt of Scott, Ira, and Gina. Loved sister-in-law of Joyce, Bon, Leslie and Mike, Ross and Nell, and a loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr Mark Jeffery, and Dr Margaret Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages to the Maxwell family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. The Funeral Service will be held at Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, Tomorrow (Friday), at 11.00am. Interment thereafter at Memorial Park Cemetery, corner Cypress Street and Ruru Road.
