Jeanette LEWIS Obituary

Jenny passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, October 9, 2023 in her 87th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill Lewis. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Bruce and Ann (Havelock North), Donny and Nicky (Alexandra), Sue and George Hastings (Oregon USA), Rod and Heather (Christchurch). Adored Nannie of Scott and Todd, Bradley and Janelle, Bonnie, Emma and Mark, and her 8 great-grandchildren. Beloved sister of Joan Heka (dec), Desley McGregor, Natalie Kennedy (dec), Margaret Thompson, Ian McGregor (dec), Noeline Gerken and much loved sister in-law of Sonia Kelly. Respected and loved Auntie to all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Jenny will be held at Northbrook Chapel, Spark Lane in Rangiora on Monday, October 16 at 1.00pm. So sad to hear that Jen has passed. Great memories of her and Bill at Makarewa Freezing Works Village. Bill was a supervisor and Jen worked in cook shop. Great people who always welcomed you in to their home.
A hard working couple who have shaped our lives to who we are today.
Condolences and remember Jen is not alone.
