On August 17, 2020, peacefully but unexpectedly at The Wood Rest Home, Nelson, in her 90th year. Loved wife of the late Jack. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Darren and Heather, Rick and Barbara. Loved Grandma Jean of Phillipa and Truman, Angela, Duncan and Philicia and Sean. Loved great-grandma Jean of Elena, Keira, and Isaac. In accordance with Jean's wishes, a private cremation has taken place. Messages may be addressed to The Family of Jean Quirk, c/- PO Box 7103, Nelson 7042.

My late parents Rex an Janet Curnow an children spent happy times with the Quirks an Hoys,I haven't forgotten those times because wonderful people are those that you never forget,I still remember Mrs Quirk at the nibble nook state theatre Nelson

I have so many wonderful memories of your Mum that I don't know where to start. I will drop you a line by post but I did want to share this photo.... it's your Mum and my Mum having fun together as they did so often . I hope they are up there together somewhere with Geoff and Jack, playing golf and betting on the horses.
She was a wonderful second mum to me for many years. May she Rest In Peace.
