Jean HARPER Obituary

Passed away peacefully, on April 2, 2025, with her family by her side, aged 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Joe, treasured and loved mother of Richard and Sarah, Susan and Stuart, Peter and Cath. Adored and loved Nana of Joe and Alex, Tom and Alice, Rebekah and Madi, Jamie, and Ollie. Dearest aunt of Ruth and Stan, John and Janet, and Andrew and Lyn. Much loved daughter of the late Augustus and Mary Watson; daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Lillian Harper. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Kennett and Rita Watson. The family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care given to Jean at Christchurch Hospital, and the tender care shown to her at Burwood Hospital. Special thanks to the staff and residents of Fendalton Retirement Village, for the love and care shown to her over the last three years. The memorial service to celebrate Jean's full and vibrant life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Saturday, April 12, at 2.00pm.
