Jean DOHERTY Obituary
DOHERTY, Jean Morrison - Born Northern Ireland, passed away very peacefully in Rose Court, Christchurch on April 24, 2014. Dearly loved wife of the late John Doherty of Portrush and Rotorua. Jean lived in Rotorua for many years and in Christchurch since 1999. Jean was the much loved mother and mother-in-law of Patricia and Mark McKenna (Rotorua), Thelma and John Lindup (Tauranga), Maureen (Deceased), Jeanine (Christchurch) and Seonaia and Dan Zelter (Christchurch). Also the kindest, fun loving and ever-knitting and baking Granny of Rachel, Louise, Andrew, Chris, Kathleen, Samuel and Gabrielle and a proud Great-Granny of Jemima and Matilda (deceased). Messages c/- The Doherty Family to PO Box 35046, Christchurch 8640. A Family Service held in Christchurch. Jean's ashes will be laid to rest, with John's in Rotorua later this year.

Dear Pat, Thelma, Jeanine, Seonaia and extended families. We are thinking of you all today and send our love. I have special memories of Auntie Jean over the years. She was always smiling and I am grateful we got to have lunch with her and some of the family in March. Take care of each other. She has left footprints in our hearts and we are never the same, she has made our world more beautiful for knowing her. God bless and love to you all. xx Corlette, Sophia and Olivia xx
