These are photos of Gull at Parihaka Music Festival in 2008. Gull travelled with about 6 of us in a van. We gained free entry as children's performers! I think Gull was the most talented of the lot. He was the gentle giant as per :)

Gull was a softy, such a genuine and lovely man. I am very grateful to have known him briefly in Wellington. We spent time travelling together to Parihaka to a music festival where we entertained kids. Gull played the gentle giant and let the kids 'take him down'. We had fun. You will be missed Gull. Love to his whanau.

Gull, you were awesome. I loved hanging out with you at the Mount. You were special and everybody loved you. When you moved to Wellington I managed to reconnect and we checked out a circus act. Your mind was so inquiring, curious to how other people existed. Thanks for the good times, the laughter and the depth. You get to fly among the birds now.
