Janet WHEELER Obituary

Passed away, with family by her side, on April 4, 2025, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Clive, loved mother and mother-in-law of Louise and Barry, Greg and Tracey, Tim, and the late Colin. Loved Gran of Georgia and Braden, Andrew, Thomas and Dee, Bridget and Will, and Alex, Great-Gran of Charlotte, Lily, Lucy, and Henry. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lady Wigram for their love and care of Jan, and support to the family. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Jan Wheeler, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The service to celebrate Jan's life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Friday, April 11, at 10.00am, followed by a private cremation.

Jan, I still remember the day we first met. You guys rocking into Leeston, with these 4 annoying children across the road. At that time we never thought it would be a friendship for life. You have been a part of our family ever since. What a friendship it has been.I loved when I moved home and got to hang with you at the bar. God we had some nights. Your sense of humour was one of your many strengths. I can only imagine what it was like at conferences with you and Clive and Mum and Dad. Clive rolling his eyes at some of your antics. You can now rest with Clive.
Lou Lou, Greg and Tim will be fine. They have been taught by the best.
