Janet GIBSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully on her own terms, with family by her side, on Monday, February 6, 2023. Beloved Mum and mother-in-law of Jeff and Row, and Sonja, adored Nana of Calib, Tayla-Shae, Ella, and Hayley, and cherished great-nana of Harlo. Loved twin sister of Di, and a cherished sister of Nor, Flo, Jill, and the late Val. Messages for the Gibson family may be sent to PO Box 26112, Christchurch 8148. In keeping with Janet's wishes, a Private cremation will be held.

Dear Aunty Jan, I will miss your beautiful wee face and our chats. Our joint love of the garden, finding trinkets, watching reality TV, especially Married at First Sight...always made for interesting discussions. I am so glad Mum (Flo) and I got to spend time with you in December. The cuttings you gave me from your garden are growing well and I will always treasure them. You grew your Angel wings under your own terms and I know you will now be with Nana and Grandad Blair and all our loved ones who passed before you. Give Nicky and Dad (Ian) a hug from us. Dear Aunty Janny. I will miss having you in my life. Sharing our love of plants and trinkets and talking about the latest reality and renovation shows you loved to watch. The cuttings you gave me from your garden are growing well and will forever remind me of you and our last visits together. I am so glad mum (Flo) and I had a chance to see you in December. It was hard seeing you struggle and I admire your finding the strength to choose the day you would get your Angel wings. Our lives will not be the same without you in it. Your family have done you proud and we will always be there for them and your dear twin Di.
