Janet Arroyo Obituary

Janet Urquhart Arroyo, of Manchester, died unexpectedly on August 25, 2025, at Boston Medical Center.

Born in Goffstown, she was the daughter of the late James and Marjorie (Reynolds) Urquhart. She was deeply loved and raised by her late Grandmother and Grandfather, Minnie and Theodore Reynolds. Janet was educated in Goffstown, NH attended Villa Augustina School. She worked for many years for Osram Sylvania, in Manchester, NH.

Janet enjoyed time spent bingo, tabs with her daughters, and games on her phone. She also enjoyed watching movies, especially on Tubi, and baking. Janet was extremely determined and strong willed. She had a spark and fire about her like no one else. She had a kind soul and a huge heart and spending time with her family was what brought her the most happiness. Above all else, she will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Janet was predeceased by her son, Michael Arroyo in 1972.

Family includes two daughters, Anna Cadena of Waco,TX and Jennifer Barrientos and partner Alex Cooper of Manchester, NH; two sons, Hector Arroyo and Shaun Arroyo both of Manchester, NH; three siblings, Sandra Ramirez of Manchester, NH, James Shipley and wife Ellie of Raymond, NH, and Ruth Mason and husband John of Hampton, NH; nine grandchildren, Jessicca Richard and husband Michael of Temple, TX, Angelyna Fernandez of Waco, TX, Tiffany Daley and husband Josh of Arlington, TX, Melicia Fernandez of Waco, TX, Jose Fernandez and wife Alexis of Waco, TX, Alex Sarette of Goffstown, NH, Bryanna Corriveau of Gainsville, GA, James Spaulding of Boston,MA and Timothy Spaulding of Manchester, NH; ten great grandchildren, JaeLi Grover, Annalicia Cadena, Rylee Taylor, Tex Taylor, Alejandro Fernandez, Amyiah Fernandez, Vivian Corriveau, Romeo Cadena, Abigail Daley and Marlo Spaulding; and several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, August 29th, at Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, NH 03104.
