Jane PITTAWAY Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane, who left us on August 13, 2025, at the age of 75. Jane is lovingly remembered by her family of whom she was so proud, her husband Stewart, for over 50 years, her daughter Katy, son-in-law Richard, her treasured grandchildren Cormack, and Raffaela, and her sisters Susan, and the late Elizabeth. Jane had a beautiful kind heart that she generously shared with her family and friends, and who helped educate hundreds of children during her teaching career. Jane loved animals, in particular her cats, that were significant companions over the years.

Will be deeply missed by all

To Stewart, Katy, Richard, Susan, and their families.

Jane was a treasured member of the Cotswold Matahae School team, giving herself wholeheartedly to the children, families, and colleagues she worked alongside.
She was a dedicated teacher-committed to her students, generous with her time, and deeply respected by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jane´s influence reached well beyond the classroom, shaping young lives and strengthening the heart of our school community.

We extend our love and deepest sympathy to Stewart, Katy, Richard, Susan, and their families. We are profoundly grateful for Jane´s many years of service and the lasting difference she made in the life of Cotswold Matahae School.
