DEAR FIONA AND JOHN, WHOM I MET WHILE VISITING THEIR DEAR MUM AT THE ASHLEY SUITES. I WAS VERY FOND OF JANE AND KNOWING HER PARENTS LIVED IN WAIKOUAITI I FORMED A BOND WITH HER.
A LOVELY WOMAN, SO HAPPY AND BRIGHT WHEN I KNEW HER IN HER LAST FEW YEARS.
SINCERE SYMPATHY-
MARY COLLINS.

I do send my most sincere sympathy to you all, and have had so many memories to think about since reading of Jane´s death last week.
As I planned to attend the service I did not write then but hoped to see you there. However I was unable to do so and have thought of all our school years, time at Elmswood , and visits to Bishop Selwyn and Russley where Jane and I caught up on lots of memories!
You are all in my thoughts and prayers and I do send my sympathy and love,
Mollie Woods

Jane, I have warm memories of time with you, even if brief and well separated. You are a glass half full l person, always saw the positive. A fabulous Aunty. Generous and gracious hospitality always on offer. You made time for others. I always remember you introduced me to muesli on a holiday at Karitane as a young teenager, and has been my breakfast ever since. As a youngster and in later years it was always a highlight to see you and Alan and the family. God Bless Mark
