James THORN Obituary
0n April 16, 2021, aged 90, passed peacefully in the arms of his daughters. Devoted husband to Mary, beloved father of Beverley and Gillian and adored Grandad to his six grandchildren. A service to celebrate Jim's colourful life is to be held at Charlemagne Lodge, Te Puna, on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at 11.00am. Many wonderful memories, Uncle Jim you had the ability to light up a room with your charisma and sense of humour. Get togethers i remember as a child were humorously choreographed by you creating belly laughing and tears of joy. I can hear you singing 'I am the piano man what can you play' as you pretended to play the piano.
Thank you for the joyful childhood memories you created for me.
Now with Auntie Mary again and being the conductor of laughter on Heaven.
