SUTHERLAND,
James Ross (Jim):
On Tuesday, January 22, 2019, peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch; aged 69 years (laughter booming through the heavenly gates!). Loved husband, best friend and soulmate of Judy; loved father of Rebecca and partner Steve, Aaron and wife Janine, Matthew, Philip, Jodie-Lee and Naomi; step-father of Kyla and Aidan Lyons and Brad and Michelle Greenstreet; loved grandfather of his many grandchildren; loved brother of Peter and Gill, and Ralph and Anne-Marie, and the late Heather and Val; and loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews. A celebration service for Jim will be held in Opawa Baptist Church, 285 Wilsons Road, Christchurch, at 1.30pm on Monday, January 28. Donations to Cancer Society appreciated in lieu of flowers.
