James Robert (Jim):
On July 1, 2016, surrounded by family. Dearly loved youngest son of the late Cath and Frank Simmonds, and a much loved brother and brother-in-law of Marie and Tom (Brisbane), Pauline and Garth (Gold Coast), Chris and Billy, Francis, Rita and Ciaran (Belfast, Ireland). Loved by his nieces and nephews and cousin Marie Rita. Many thanks to Mary Fairhall and the Nurse Maude team, Jane his dialysis nurse, and to all our friends who have supported us throughout Jim's very long illness. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Church, Greers Road, on Tuesday, July 5, at 11.00am, and thereafter at Waimairi Cemetery at 1.00pm.
