PHILLIPS, James Murray:
NZ Army 927871, CMT, T/Sergeant. Ex NZPO Linesman.
Previously of Dunedin and Christchurch. Murray passed away peacefully, aged 85 years, at CHT Acacia Park, Omokoroa, on May 19, 2023 after a long illness. Murray was a much-loved father and mate of Sue and Barry Hodges. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Cliff and Joan, Margaret, Ernie and Doris, and Bev (all deceased), and Reg Sutherland, Russell and Fran. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at CHT Acacia Park, Omokoroa. We are very grateful for the care and kindness shown to Murray over the past 21/2 years. At Murray's request no service will be held. Murray is also survived by daughter Fiona Paton. Communications to the James Phillips family, c/- PO Box 3136, Tauranga 3142.
