Very very sad to learn of Jamie's death (JC as we always called him) Jamie was a great friend to both of us for many years, we still recall eating a rock hard pie at the Mount Somers pub on the way home from Mt Hutt on Queens Birthday weekend with Harry and Maree in the 1980's, riding over the top of him on a PE 400 (motorbike) at Ashley Forest and cracking his ribs, getting around the farm at Ashwick with 2 kids in the fish box on the front of the 4 wheeler during the hard times there and so many other occasions. You kids can be sure that in the times he used to call here to see us or give me a ring to discuss a rally I was always fully updated on what you were doing.
We will all greatly miss him, as the notice in the paper says, a very loyal friend.
