LAMB, James Alexander (Jim) - Aged 97 years. (Peacefully) on Saturday, February 22, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at the farm in Wendon Valley where he was born. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Estella for 72 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Jim and Margaret (Gore), Jeff and Ngaire (Wendon Valley), the late Ava, and John Perkins (Mataura), Ian and Vickie (Rangiora). Loved and cherished grandad of James and Jane, Karl and Lynley, Paul, and Travis and Hellene; Kerry and Matt, Greg and Jess; Lea and Dennis, Angie and Jock, Anthony and Alyce; Sarah and Tim, loved great-grandad of Michael, Cameron, Piper-Jean, Seirosa and Nafanua; Geordie, Stevie, and Mac; Charlie, Alby, and Leo; Estella, and Clayton. A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held in the Waikaka Centennial Hall, on Wednesday, February 26, at 1.30 p.m. then leaving for the Waikaka Cemetery.
