On January 14, 2026, passed peacefully at the Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 70 years. Dearly loved husband of Janice, and beloved father of David and Claire, loved brother to Barbara, John, Janet and Andrew, and brother-in-law to Hilary and Tania, and loved by his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the hospice staff who cared for Jim over the past 5 days, your support has been appreciated. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Jim Henderson, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Aymes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042. The Funeral Service for Jim will be held at Hope Chapel, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1.00pm. Jim had a private cremation before this service.
