(Late of Ashburton, Owen River and Motueka). Passed away in Motueka on January 29, 2024. Dearly loved son of George and Mabel Cunningham (both deceased), and loved brother and brother-in-law of Greta and Les Read (Ashburton both deceased), Isabel and Ted Sampson (Ashburton both deceased), Peter and Catherine Cunningham (Ashburton both deceased), Glenys Gillbank (Richmond), Noeline (deceased) and Gavin Radford (Blenheim). Dearly loved Uncle of all his Nieces and Nephews.


You will be missed, but never forgotten.

spent a lot of time at Jim's property, back in the Beech logging days...Nothing troubled Jim as we created the usual mess that logging creates...Caught up with him at Ngatimoti , years later...A very friendly bloke and good company,with a cup of tea and a yarn...

Although a long time ago, I do remember Jim as a kind and helpful bloke, as a neighbour when we farmed 'over the hill' in Owen Valley.
