Peacefully, after a brief illness at Timaru Hospital, on Monday, May 12, 2025, surrounded by loving family, aged 78. Dearly beloved wife of Sid Hurst (deceased), cherished mum and mother-in-law of Jonathan and Natalie, Christine and Philip. Adored Nanna Jackie/Nana of Ruby; Zara, and Evie. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Brent and Julie, Jill and Brian, Helen and Paul, Tom and Ailsa, Peter and Narina, Mary and Graeme and their families. A service celebrating Jackie's life will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, College Rd, Timaru, on Monday, May 19 at 11.00am. Messages to 2 Grange Close, Mt View Village, Timaru 7910. Jackie's family would like to thank the staff at Timaru Hospital for their compassionate care.

Jonathan & Christine, our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mum Jackie.
The memories from the years living across the road from the Hurst's will live with us forever.
Sid and Jackie were two of New Zealand's best, they were always there for us.
Jackie was a really special friend and always kept in contact for every birthday, Christmas to update us with progress of the family.
Jackie is now with her soulmate Sid.
