KOSTER, Jacob (Jaap):
14.4.1927 - 3.3.2021
Jaap passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on March 3, 2021, just one month short of his 94th birthday and 68th wedding anniversary. Loving husband to Joan, and respected father and father-in-law of Carol (deceased), Rikki and Gillian, and Rob and Karen. Loving grandpa of Rebekah Coburn; Katrina Wood and Anna Koster; Robbie and Jason Koster and their partners, and a great-grandpa. Jaap was born in Delft, the Netherlands, but called New Zealand home when he arrived in 1951. The family wish to thank Kauri Lodge for their wonderful care of Jaap over the last three years and all the fantastic staff in the Medical Assessment Unit and Ward 23 at Christchurch Hospital. At Joan's request, a private family cremation has been held.
