Sorry to hear about Jack. I remember travelling to monthly meetings of the Gore Boat Club together, enjoying many fishing trips and other club events.
Jack was a real gentleman with a sense of humour and set a great example for other members in the club's hey day.
Deepest sympathy to you all.

Sympathies to you all. Jack was a real peoples person. I appreciated so much that he made time to pull up beside our boundary fences and have a chat.

I was very sad to head about Jack. One way or another I have known Jack since Morton Mains School days. I have always looked up to Jack and learned from his leadership over the years. It seems strange after all these years, that we won't be talking again. I am very thankful though for the time we had together. Jack was very proud of his family and I know he will be missed. I hope the joy Jack brought to you all will help overcome the sadness of his passing. Peter Flannery.
