Ivy SMITH Obituary

Formerly of Dunedin/Christchurch. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December 29, 2024, at Jack Inglis Friendship Hospital, Motueka, in her 100th year. Friend of the late, Earl Smith, father of her children. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of David and Saifon (Te Aroha), Jennifer (dec) and Nigel Isherwood (Christchurch), Robert and Lorraine (Ruby Bay), and Elizabeth and Peter Mazey (Nelson). Loved granny of Darian, Winsome, Victoria, Virginia and Pete, and khun yaa of Jonathan. Loved great-gran of Joshua, Jessica, Brooke, Olivia, Rachel, Eva-Rose, and Hunter, and great-great-gran of Charlotte, Lewis, and Jackson. Beloved daughter of Albert (George) Augustus and Mary Anne Swanson, sister and sister-in-law, and aunty. Ivy's family sincerely thank Jack Inglis staff, for her care over the last six years and the exceptional end of life care she received. At a date to be confirmed a Memorial Service for Ivy will be held in Lincoln, followed by an interment in Dunedin.
