On December 13, 2024 peacefully in her own home. Loved wife of the late Len Smith and Ansley McCormick. Loved Mum and mother-in-law of Doug and Pam McIlwrick and Barbara and Eddie Hornberg (Australia). Loved Grandma and great-Grandma to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ivy's life will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Havelock Street, Ashburton, on Wednesday18, commencing at 2.00pm.

I think of Ivy and I get a smile on my dial! I treasured our friendship and although is waned in the last few years, I loved the memories. I visited Ivy a year ago. Life got rather tough for her. She was a treasure, and I am honored to have spent time with her!
