Ivor ROBINSON Obituary
Passed away peacefully on September 6, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, at Nurse Maude Hospice, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Margaret, loving dad and father-in-law of Hugh, Nicki and Bruce Jefferd, John and Fiona, and Nickey, and devoted grandad of Sam, Michael, Ella; Matthew, Tim, Kate; Ben and Andrew. Special thanks to Dr Tony Ferris, Dr Iain Ward, and the team at Nurse Maude Hospice for their wonderful care and support of Ivor and his family. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Ivor Robinson, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Funeral Service to celebrate Ivor's life will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, on Monday, September 12, at 2.00pm. Private cremation thereafter.

Margaret and family, so sad to hear of Ivor's death, and sadder still to miss his funeral. A true 'gentle'man so fondly remembered and respected during our many visits to 'Ravenswood'. As a child he was always a favourite friend of mine. So much patience, love and understanding. Much love to all the family, Jacqueline Taylor.

Was very sad to read today ,when checking the NZ papers ,that your lovely Ivor had passed away ...
It was very special catching up with you both last year at the Ohoka Market whilst back in ChCh...
Please accept my sincerest sympathy in your very sad loss of a true gentleman, loving husband, father and grandfather .
Memories of my childhood next door to the Robinson / Taylor family will always remain.....wonderful times...

Dear Margaret, Hugh, Nicki, John and families. You have been in my heart and thoughts over this sad and difficult period. My special memories of happy times with Ivor and you all, at Ravenswood, when we were children, are still vivid. I am thankful that I saw Ivor a year ago at Mum's funeral and had a lovely catch up with him that day. God's peace be with you all at this sad time.
