So sorry to hear of Hobos passing, he was always a lovely man to me at the pub every time I would come up to him to accompany him, hearing of his passing brought tears to my eyes as I got to know a bit about him, he will be missed and remembered

Colleen and family, sorry to hear of Hobos' passing. Have many great memories of playing golf with both Hobo and you Colleen. Hobo always took great interest and supported our mens pennant teams. Many laughs and stories shared at the "19th". Thinking of you all at this difficult time. RIP Hobo.

Condolences to Mrs. Hobbs and Family.
Quite a few years ago Mr. Hobbs gave me a tip at the races for a trifecta - all three horses came in.
A few weeks later at the Urenui Hotel he asked me how much I collected. He was very surprised when he realised I had only collected approximately $100. Being a very naive punter, I had backed the horses all individually therefore missing out on the big win!
