BOLTON, Ivan (Boltie):
Passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023, aged 92 years. Much loved husband of Lesley, loved father and father-in-law of Lesley (Anne) and Andy (deceased), Barry, Merilyn and Bob, and Jill, loved grandfather and great-grandfather, and brother of Leoni. Special thanks to Healthcare NZ for their dedicated care of Ivan over the last two years. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Ivan Bolton, C/- PO Box 39127, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with Ivan's wishes a private cremation has been held.

I was fortunate to have worked at Phillipstown School in 1982 when he was principal. He was delightful - more than willing to chat rugby about his beloved University Club team v mine (Christchurch and/or HSOB).
He gave my daughter (then only 6 years old) two rabbits (maybe Chinchilla - called Berserk and Bananas). She loved and cared for them until they burrowed under and out of their cage. One distraught young girl. BLESS that man. I have been walking Hills Road a lot lately and remember where your family live back in the day. Blessings to you all. Rest In Peace.
