We were pleased to join with you on line as you remembered Isla's life. The mention of her connecting people made us smile as it brought the memory of her connecting Pat to a relative in the Clydesvale area.
We enjoyed the times spent with her and our sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you all.

It is sad to hear that Isla has passed away. I had the privilege of looking after Isla as her nurse at Ilam Lifecare. I called her the strongest of all. She was a brave fighter and was never afraid to speak up for what she believed in. She surely knew her rights as a consumer of care. I left Ilam two years ago but I have carried Isla's memories with me. She placed a lot of value in the work I did and did not hesitate to express her trust in me. In many ways, she ministered to me. Unfortunately, I will not be there to sing or pray at Isla's funeral but I hope to see Isla at the feet of Jesus Christ. There we shall raise our voices together to sing the last stanza of our best song, "Abide with me, fast falls the eventide". Together we shall declare, "I fear no foe with thee at hand to bless. Ills have no weight, and tears, no bitterness. Where is death's sting? Where, grave, thy victory? I triumph still if thou abide with me." Good night Isla!! Dorothy, Goeff and Jenny, please accept my deepest sympathy.

Such sad news to hear of Isla´s passing. My Mother - Janet Beard had such fond memories of Isla and so enjoyed their catchups. Our heartfelt condolences to all the family.

It has been a privilege for me to get to know and spend time with Isla during the past two years. During the past six months life hasn't been easy for her yet I never heard her complain. I will miss her but I know she was ready to join her Lord and Saviour. My sympathy to all the family.
