Isabel FORRESTER Obituary

Passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in her 93rd year. Loved wife of the late Morris Andrew Forrester, and treasured Mum of John Forrester, and Kay Worthington. Special thanks to Charles Upham Rest Home. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Isabel Forrester, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. Isabel's funeral service will be held at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 188 King Street (corner of King and High Streets), Rangiora, on Thursday, August 7, at 1.00pm, burial at Rangiora Lawn Cemetery to follow. saddened to read of Isabels passing. Had a lot to do with her over the years of country netball and umpires .Coming from the Lincoln /Selwyn area she always made us welcome on field days and country days . Always willing to help with anything Netball and a happy face to us visitors.

Gail and I were saddened today when we heard of your Mums passing .. I remember her sitting patiently in your car while we were completing tax details .
She was always friendly , happy and enjoying the many outings you shared with her .
Take solace in being there for each other over the years John , she would have cherished having you there for her .
