Catherine Rickman Obituary

Catherine Marie Rickman, age 75 of Snellville, GA, passed away at home in the care of Inspire Hospice on August 7, 2025.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Rickman; parents, Albert and Bessie Jane Gretzinger; and sister, Annajean Gretzinger. She is survived by her daughter, Timberly "Kay" Waldschmidt and husband Derek; her granddaughter, Cassandra Waldschmidt; her sister, Karen Madore and husband Mike; and several nieces and nephews.
She was born on August 9, 1950 and married Larry on August 5, 1972. Their daughter was born in April of '73.
Catherine worked in accounting at Bank of America and retired after 17 years. She then went to work at Avon Corporate office and retired from there 15 years later. She volunteered at Snellville Senior Center and also received Volunteer of the Year. She loved any and all crafts, making wreaths, cards, scrapbooks, embroidery, sewing and cross-stitching. She also loved bowling, reading and playing the piano, and was active in her church women's group.
Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1826 Killian Hill Rd. SW Lilburn, GA 30047, on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00pm.
