BEGG, Iris Elaine:
On May 1, 2021, peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of Kevyn for 69 years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Dean and the late Elaine Keown, Gavin and Jan, and Julie and Reuben. Adored nana of Tony, Jody, and Scott; Sophie, and Emily; Katie, and Jesse, and great-nana of Milly, Eve, Kaden, Devin, Caleb, and Harlow, Addison, Cassidy, and Luna. Messages to the Begg family, c/- PO Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A service to celebrate Iris's life will be held at the Salvation Army, Cass Street, Ashburton, on Friday, May 7, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.

Iris was a lovely lady with a big heart. She was aptly named, as I remember her love of flowers and pride in her gardens. The Begg family were a big part of my life growing up, with Elaine being a friend and Julie being my flower girl. The family also provided transport to church for Robbie and I. Her kindness will never be forgotten. Well done good and faithful servant, you have earned your rest. Much aroha to Kevin and family. Judi Harding
