Irene TAKLE Obituary

Formerly of St Albans. On her 95th birthday, April 30, 2024, at Christchurch Hospital. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Robin and the late Lynn, Jackie and Grant, and Grant and Bronwyn. Beloved Nana of Rachael, Mechelle, Chelsea, and Kendra; Great-grandmother of Zoe, James, Adam, and Darcey; and Great-great-grandmother of Macey Jane. Loved sister of Ron (dec), Mick, Yvonne (dec), and Sandra (all of UK). In lieu of flowers, online donations for the SPCA (www.spca.nz/donate) or Arthritis Canterbury (www.arthritis.org.nz) would be appreciated. A service to celebrate Irene's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London or Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Wednesday, May 8 at 1.00pm, to be followed by a private cremation.
