On October 21, 2017, peacefully in Oamaru. In her 97th year. Dearly loved wife of Clarrie, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Jenny, Graham and Raewyn, Neil and Debbie, Philippa and Justin, loved and treasured Granny of Hayden, Adele and Isla; Philip and Simon; Hayley, Thomas and James; Hamish and Timothy; and loved great-grandmother of Cade; Grace and Ethan. A service to celebrate Rene's long life will be held at St Paul's Presbyterian Church, Coquet Street, Oamaru, on Friday, October 27, commencing at 2.00pm. A private interment will be held. Messages to 234 Thames Street, Oamaru 9400.
