Ian STOKES Obituary

STOKES, Ian Mathew:
Formerly of Lees Valley (Oxford). On August 24, 2022, passed peacefully at Adriel Rest Home in Amberley, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Erica of 62 years. Treasured dad and father-in-law of Geraldine and Steve Quested, Jo-Anne Stokes and Dougal Morrison, Robert and Julie, Susan and Philip Smith. Special Grandpa to 11 grandchildren and Great-Grandpa to 6 and 3/4 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved twin brother and brother-in-law to Bruce and Pat Stokes, brother to Margaret Robertson (Australia). Much loved uncle to his 5 nephews. The family would like to acknowledge the staff at Adriel Rest Home for their dedication and care of Ian these last 18 months. A Service to Celebrate Ian's life will be held in St Andrews Anglican Church, 195 High Street, Oxford, on Tuesday, August 30, at 2.00pm, thereafter private cremation.
