Ian SOPER Obituary

Passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on Sunday, 2 November 2025, at Redwood Care Centre. Aged 83 years. Dearly cherished husband and soulmate of Anne for 63 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Leanne, Melissa and Paul, and Nigel and Noeline. Treasured Pop to Jacinda and Josh, Connor, Hunter and Bella, Hayden, Jamie and Nathan. Messages may be sent to the Soper family c/- PO Box 110, Blenheim 7240. A donation to Marlborough Hospice Trust 06-0601-0148609-00 would be appreciated. A farewell for Ian will be held at Sowmans Mayfield Chapel, Thursday, 6 November 2025 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation.

Dear Anne, Leanne, Nigel, Melissa...and your now rather extended family ...Very sorry to learn of the passing of your Ian. It appears he has been unwell and is now at rest. Ian (and yourselves) were excellent role models at work and elsewhere. It will be 44 years on the 28th Nov that you supported us at our wedding. That is still appreciated. Ian is remembered fondly by us; RIP.
