On Saturday, February 22, 2025, unexpectedly in Christchurch, aged 53 years. Loved son of the late Barbara and John, dearly loved brother of Cheryl, Phil, and Andrew. Special uncle of his nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Booga's life will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, entrance from London and Whitmore Streets, Richmond, Christchurch, on Friday, February 28 at 1.00pm. If you would like to pay your respects to Ian (Booga) you may do so in the John Rhind Chapel, on Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27, between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
