Ian RICHARDSON Obituary

On October 4, 2025, at Diana Isaac Retirement Village, aged 80 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Nick, and Danielle and Mohamed, loved Granddad of Zoe, Leila, and James. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Anne and Oliver, Joan and David (deceased), Alan and Sue, Bruce and Jenny, Eileen and Roger, Christine and Ken, Louise and Alex, and Gerard. Loved uncle, great uncle, colleague and friend to many. Special thanks to the staff at the Diana Isaac Special Care Unit for their wonderful care of Ian over the last four years. A private memorial service will be held.

My Condolences to Ians extended family. I first met Ian many years ago when I was a mortgage broker and he took on a fatherly role looking out for me. He always had a smile on his face and cared deeply about everyone around him. Then when my charity nz gifts of love and strength started we were looking for larger premises Ian and I caught up for a cuppa, chatted and laughed about old times abd he tried to help me find a new location. He truly was one of the nicest men I knew that genuinely cared about people. My Condolences to Ians family, I know its been a tough few years. Ian will be at peace and catching up with past friends im sure. RIP my friend.
