MUIR, Ian Walter:
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2016, aged 86 surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of Erina for 63 years. Cherished father, father-in-law and best mate of Brian and Deb, Anne-Marie and Andrew, Roger and Nicky, Tony and Suzanne, and Graeme. Loved Pop to Chris and Jenna, Abbey, Matthew and Nicky, Daniel and Leigh, Simon and Alice, Timothy and Brittany, Ryan, Tess and Hayden,Thomas, Rangi, Stephen and Kate, and Ricky. Great Pop of Seth, Paisley, and Monty. Special Pop to so many others. Special thanks to the many staff members at Kaikoura Health Care and Hospital who have cared for Ian throughout his illness. Messages to the Muir Family, c/- PO Box 134, Kaikoura 7300. The Funeral Service for Ian will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ludstone Road, Kaikoura, Tomorrow (Saturday), July 9, at 1.30pm, followed by interment at the Kaikoura Cemetery.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. He was a dear friend always happy, always welcoming and always kind. I could never say Ian without saying Erina..a wonderful partnership over the years.he will be sadly missed. Much love to all the family. Special thoughts to you Erina having to say goodbye to your best friend. Love and prayers to you all. May he rest in peace.
