Ian MCCORMICK Obituary
On February 1, 2017, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital after a short illness, aged 80 years. Dearly loved husband and "rock" of Lois, much loved Dad and father-in-law of John and Claudine, Andrew and Liz, Anne, Fiona and Andy, loved and respected Grandad of Brittany, Monique and Lachlan Bensemann; Alice and John McCormick; Jackson and William Jones; and Jack Page.

now at rest.'
Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Ian McCormick, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Canterbury would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A Service to celebrate Ian's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Tomorrow (Tuesday), at 2.00pm.

I first met Ian when I was 8 & he was a young teacher at Dunsandel School. At the time he was a good rugby player & representative boxer & kids worshipped him. I knew him later as a spraying contractor & farmer. He was a gentleman & the nicest, most friendly man one could ever meet.
