MACKEY, Ian:
On February 2, 2017, passed away peacefully at Burwood Hospital, aged 88 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Vera; much loved father and father-in-law of Jacqueline and Paul Davis, and John and Julie; treasured grandad of Brendon and Alecia, Melanie and Matthew, Eleanor and John, Hamish and Mengling, and Gemma; and special great-grandad of Nadia, Tobi, Nico, Talitha, Archie and Piper.
At peace with his Lord.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Kauri Lodge and Burwood Hospital for their care and support. Messages may be sent to The Mackey Family, c/- PO Box 5659, Christchurch. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made at the service. A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at The Avonhead Baptist Church, 102 Avonhead Road, on Tuesday, February 7, at 1.00pm, followed by private interment at The Avonhead Park Cemetery.
