Passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, aged 60 years. Dearly loved partner of Wendy, and treasured son of Alan and Elsie. Deeply missed by all in the outdoors community and those who crossed his path. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Ian Huntsman, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A service to celebrate Ian's life will be held at Oaklands, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Wednesday, March 11, at 2.30pm.

So many memories Ian especially your early years in New Zealand kayaking and just hanging out with me Paul and our girls. It was a privilege to spend those last days with you hoping for the miracle that never happened. Rest in peace you will always be loved and never be forgotten
