Passed away suddenly at his home on Monday January 2, 2017. Much loved father of James and dearly loved ex-husband of Jenny. Flowers respectfully declined but donations to Aspie Help would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages C/- the Hunter family to PO box 35046 Christchurch 8640. A celebration of Ians life will be held at the Cashmere Presbyterian Church, Cnr Dyers Pass Road and MacMillan Avenue on Monday January 9, at 11.00am, thereafter a private cremation.

Devastated to hear of Ian's passing. He was a role model to me when I was growing up. Annette, Krystal and I are deeply saddened. Ian was extremely generous with his time and energy, he always helped those in need. Wishing James and the rest of the family our deepest condolences through what will be a challenging time.

Our sincerest condolences to Ian's family! Ian has looked after our furniture shop in New Brighton for the last 8 years and has always been a lovely, generous person to deal with. We are so shocked and saddened by his passing! Ian will be very missed by us all

So shocked & saddened to hear of Ian's sudden passing!

He brightened our day whenever we saw him to chat to & we were both looking forward to seeing him back at work after the Xmas/New Year break. His Xmas Present is sitting here waiting for him.

Ian was a very hard worker and did an amazing job taking care of the building our shop is located in. Nothing was ever a problem.

Huge Sympathies to James!

Thanks for all your help & all the laughs Ian. You are already greatly missed!
