Ian COSGROVE Obituary
May 16, 1957 - August 25, 2022
Peacefully at home after a long illness. Beloved second son of Lorna and Joe Cosgrove (dec). Brother to Maurice (dec) and Christine and Gary Scannell (Paraparaumu). Caring uncle of Simon and Katy Scannell (Wellington) and Rebecca Scannell and Nick Lloyd (Lower Hutt) plus his
five great-nieces and nephews. A family celebration of his life and private cremation has been held. Ian's ashes will
be buried with his family in Timaru. A special thank you
to Spencer Holmes for his support of Ian over the last ten years.

Missing you heaps old friend. So sad i missed your funeral. Pete and I are hoping to visit you soon. You were one of my best mates for half of my life we had some great times together. RIP

We were very saddened to hear of Ian's passing. My brother and I lived next to him when he was flatting in Gloucester Street & we had plenty of laughs over that time. My brother kept in contact with him and only saw him a month ago so it was a bit of a shock to hear he had passed away. As we were unable to pay our respects at a funeral, please accept this as our condolences to the family.
