As a cousin of Anna Maria I and my wife spent some days with Ian in Christchurch and Kaiteri last year. We had a wonderful time together. Back home we always loved our regular telphone calls with Ian till the end of October this year. He promised to visit Switzerland in the next few years. We had so many plans.

So we were shocked to hear of Ian's passing. Ian was such a friendly, helpful and humorous person. We miss him very much. We are greatfull for his friendship and love and we will always keep him in our heart.

To his family our sincere condolences

So very sad to hear of Ian's passing. What a wonderful man. Wise, generous and if you needed your ear bent for an hour or more then Ian always had a story to share.
Our family has had the pleasure of Little Kaiteriteri for the last 20 years plus and made some wonderful memories in your bach. You and Anna Maria were such tremendous support when Helen died. And then when Anna Maria passed, I can remember the phone calls we shared learning to live without our loved ones. And now you and Anna Maria are together again. We shall have a toast to you at Kaiteriteri this year. Our sincere condolences to your family from Brett, Will and George.
