Sorry to learn of Ian's passing. Deepest sympathy to all his family and friends. I regularly thought of Ian and his family wondering what they were doing and up to in Motueka. I resided next door to his house he built, about 1955, at 9 (now No 11) Ivory Street, Rangiora. It was a site I got keen, during the building of, becoming a carpenter, but it never happened. I laid my first and only brick in the construction of this house and it's still there ! I now reside in Hawkes Bay
