Hugh SEALES Obituary

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024, peacefully, at home, aged 80 years. Loved husband of the late Jill for 51 years, and latterly of Miranda. Loved Dad and father-in-law of Paul and Rebecca, Neil and Sharyn, Donald and Kersten, Kevin and the late Kelly, loved Pop of Laura, Philip, Ashley, Georgia, Alexandra, Angus, Liam, Heidi, Zach, Sebastian, and Amelia, and their partners, and children. Dearly loved brother of Jan and Ron, and the late Kathleen and Alan, loved colleague and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Hugh Seales, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. The funeral service in celebration of Hugh's life will be held in our Oaklands Chapel, corner Halswell Junction and Wigram Roads, Halswell, on Wednesday, June 12, at 10.30am.

To Paul Neil Donald and Kevin and families
We were so saddened to hear of Hughs passing between Willi and I we worked alongside him for over 40years such a wonderful kind and respected colleague. Buts its the history of friendship and camaraderie I treasure the most , the honour of being his best man when he married Jill and all the mad adventures we went on such great memories that live on. We are currently in Northland so were not able to make his send off , so disappointed.I am sure we will catch up soon treasure the memories and all the good times you had, he was always so proud of all of you, you were his life.
